Good out of the box, very adjustable, might need additional parts

I have Zeta CRDs on my RX-8. During the install, I had to buy new rear shock upper mount flange bolts (M12x1.25, 30mm length, non tapered ends) because the OEM bolts will not thread through the new shock mounts and through the hole in the trunk. Other than that, installation was very easy and adjustments are easy to do whether the shock is installed or not. My coilovers had a lowered setting out of the box, so be mindful of how low you want your car. My CRDs let me slam it. Invest in a digital micrometer to verify the distance between the bottom and middle locking collars.

During the first drive, the ride was very floaty and I felt motion sickness. I set the shock damping four clicks harder (clockwise) on all four sides and the floatiness went away. Drive around between 20-100 miles so the suspension can settle, then get an alignment immediately afterwards. Overall, on the street, I can feel the difference between these coilovers and my tired, old suspension. I’m very pleased with the results so far and I look forward to doing autocross with these. Accel, turning, and decel are much sharper than stock, and the ride isn’t super stiff.

Customer service was very helpful, from answering questions prior to purchasing, to verifying I had the right parts (apparently the NC MX-5 and the RX-8 coilovers are the same design).

For the price, these Zeta CRDs are hard to beat. With so much competition in the coilover market, I’m happy I went with MeisterR. And I definitely recommend the brand as an OEM+ suspension upgrade. Great job and I wish y’all the best.
