This has to be the best upgrade for any MX-5. Our 2006 with Bilstein yellows was fine, but when replaced with Meister CRD coilers became a real canyon carver. First, the lowered look is more befitting a proper sports car, but the real change is in the enhanced handling that is coupled with relative comfort. To be fair, the ride isn’t as smooth as OEM shocks but that was to be expected. However, it’s still a comfortable ride and as said before, the handling is simply amazing. We’re fortunate to live near some very challenging and dynamic roads, including CA 4 over Ebbetts Pass and CA 49 in California’s Gold Country. Having driven over many times with OEM, the difference now is pronounced.
